The International 6 Day 3 Recap
OG dominated Day 3 after winning all four games to finish as solo Group A leaders in Dota 2 The International 6 at KeyArena Center in Seattle, USA.
The tournament favourites opened the day with a 43-minute beat down of TNC Gaming, with their selection of Traxex, Mirana, Kunkka, Axe and Invoker demolishing TNC’s combo of Shadow Demon, Slardar, Terrorblade, Icarus and Tinker, 42-15, in the kill count.
OG, who also swept Natus Vincere later in the day, scored a total of 11 points in the group stages to nip the top seed away from Evil Geniuses, who had a forgettable day with three losses in four games in Day 3.
EHOME, who scraped through the wild card round to reach the group stages, extended their remarkable run in Day 3 with three wins in four games to finish as Group B leaders as they won a tournament-best 12 points in 14 games.
EG’s nine points put them at second seed in Group A, followed by Wings Gaming and Alliance who are tied with eight wins. TNC is 5th with seven points, while Na’Vi is 6th with six. LGD has five points at seventh and Escape finished last with two points.
Digital Chaos earned three points in Day 3 to hold on to Group B’s second seed, followed by Newbee (8 points) and then MVP Phoenix (6 points). Fnatic moved up to fifth place from last seed with three wins in Day 3, while Team Secret finished sixth. Team Liquid (7th) and Vici Gaming Reborn (8th) finished Day 3 without a win.
