Today is an exciting day in the office as we officially announce our partnership with one of the most successful organizations in eSports, Fnatic.
Fnatic launched in 2004 and quickly became one of the leaders within the competitive gaming scene. Their teams have scooped up some of the biggest awards in eSports across all of the most popular games. They also won the coveted eSports Team of the Year award in 2006 and 2009.
We’re very happy to be able to call ourselves their ‘Official Main Team Sponsor’.
We’ll be working with Fnatic to create loads of great content for this site. We’ll be creating videos of them in training, taking a look behind the scenes of their gaming house and bringing you all the inside info on the players. Watch this space.
We’re excited about the announcement for all sorts of reasons but largely because – let’s face it – our team are eSports mad and all play the games that the Fantic pros do. We’re hoping to get a few tips on how to up our game from the Fnatic team players. Don’t worry; we’ll pass them on to you too.
But we haven’t just partnered with this awesome brand to get some tips. Dafabet is hugely committed to the growth of eSports and we see the potential for eSports to be one of the world’s most watched sports in future. Today marks the start of our commitment to eSports growth.
Fnatic might be all about winning on the surface but actually there is a lot more to being victorious than what you see on Twitch. Winning takes a lot practice, training, coaching and mentoring, and Fnatic have a great set up to ensure players can perform at their best. Fnatic care about their players’ long term development and support them as they mature into eSports stars. We love this about Fnatic.
We are all really proud to be working with such a great brand with fantastic teams.
Here’s what our Head of eSports, Jason Hutcheson, had to say on our behalf:
“As an eSports fan I have followed Fnatic since Counter-Strike 1.6. Their success within the competitive LoL and CS:GO scenes have always impressed me but I’m really looking forward to sharing their success in all of the other games that they play. I speak on behalf of the whole team when I say we’re really looking forward to supporting Fnatic and sharing the highs and lows of competitive eSports with them in the future”
Okay, just one last time. We’re FNATIC’S OFFICIAL MAIN TEAM SPONSOR.
