Valve released Dota 2 Version 6.88f and by the looks of it, many of the heroes who got nerfed in the previous update got watered down again in the latest patch.

Heroes like Arc Warden, Batrider and Drow Ranger continue to see their skills get nerfed, along with Oracle, Omniknight, Outworld Devourer and Shadow Demon.

 

At first glance, the strength gain reduction from 1.9 to 1.6 that Traxex underwent in this version is minimal, but she has already seen her Gust cooldown increase in 6.88c and had her base damage reduced by 4 in 6.88e.

Batrider continues to see changes to his Flamebreak skill, as under 6.88f the active skill will no longer interrupt channeling spell, and it had its knockback distance reduced in 6.88e, though because of the new patch it can cause stronger damage because of longer duration.

 

In 6.88c, Arc Warden saw its Flux slow reduced from 35/40/45/50% to 20/30/40/50% and its Tempest Double had a 140 Gold/XP bounty when killed. Now in 6.88f, Arc Warden’s Spark Wraith will no longer dispel and it had its movement speed slowed by 10.

Oracle got one of the toughest nerfs in 6.88f, as his Purifying Flames will now cost him 80/85/90/95 in mana, which is a far cry from the previous manacost of 50/60/70/80. The cooldown for Oracle’s False Promise increased from 90/60/30 to 100/65/30 in 6.88c and its base damage got reduced by 6 in 6.88e.

 

CANNOT WAIT FOR 6.89?

It’s been done in little and less obvious ways, but Faceless Void is the one hero who cannot wait for a Version 6.89, since the time-warping hero has been the most nerfed champion since 6.88b.

In 6.88b, Void’s Time Dialation manacost got increased from 50 to 75. In 6.88c, the cooldown of Chronosphere got increased from 130/115/100 to 140/125/110. In 6.88d, Darkterror’s base damage shrunk by 4. In 6.88e, his Time Dilation was changed so that only abilities on cooldown will be freezed, though the slow per ability increased slightly from 8% to 10%.

Now in 6.88f, Faceless Void will  see his base armor get reduced by 1. Wow, talk about slow deaths.

* Purifying Flames manacost increased from 50/60/70/80 to 80/85/90/95

* Torrent cooldown increased from 10 to 16/14/12/10

* Ghostship Rum damage reduction changed from 50% to 40/45/50%

* Shadow Poison manacost increased from 40 to 55

* Atrophy Aura attack damage reduction changed from 18/26/34/42% to 10/20/30/40%

* Morph Replicate cast time increased from 0.25 to 0.35

* Morphling base damage reduced by 4

* Drow Ranger strength gain reduced from 1.9 to 1.6

* Purification cast range reduced from 700 to 575

* Purification cast point reduced from 0.25 to 0.2

* Purification cooldown reduced from 10 to 9

* Repel duration rescaled from 4/6/8/10 to 5/6/7/8

* Repel cooldown reduced from 14 to 20/18/16/14

* Outworld Devourer base damage reduced by 6

* Starfall Scepter cooldown increased from 9 to 10

* Faceless Void base armor reduced by 1

* Stifling Dagger cast range reduced from 825/950/1075/1200 to 525/750/975/1200

* Spark Wraith no longer dispels (still slows)

* Arc Warden movement speed reduced by 10

* Healing Ward manacost increased from 120/125/130/135 to 140

* Smoke Screen slow reduced from 19/21/23/25% to 13/17/21/25%

* Track movement speed bonus reduced from 20% to 16/18/20%

* Nyx’s Scepter Burrow cast time increased from 1 to 1.5

* Flamebreak knockback no longer interrupts channeling spells (behaves like blinding light)

* Flamebreak burn duration increased from 3/4/5/6 to 4/5/6/7 (total damage increased)

* Fixed Return working on Centaur Illusions
