It is said that no ‘The International’ cannot be complete without the subsequent Roster Shuffle drama.

And as soon as Valve released the drop and invite period deadlines after TI6, teams all over the world got into their shuffling gears, with teams rumored to be disbanding, and strong players leaving key clue of forming super rosters for the next major tournaments.

DJ, TNC send SEA into frenzy

Djardel Jicko ‘Dj’ Mampusti opted out of Fnatic’s in-game roster and instantly became the hottest free agent in the South East Asia region, after his outstanding support game boosted Fnatic to a Top 4 finish in the last TI.

Rumors have it that Dj wants to stay with SEA’s best Dota 2 squad but wanted to test and see his market value before putting pen to paper with a new team.

Filipino team TnC shocked the world after beating the odds and knocking out major winners OG out of TI6, and the team is once again sending ripples throughout Dota 2 world after all five members of the squad leave the in-game roster according to Valve’s official tracker.

DeMoN, Raven, Kuku and Sam H first announced their departure, before eyyou soon followed suit and left TnC without players.

Execration, another Philippine team, made early changes in the roster, removing ryOyr and Rapy, while Mski.Sports5 saw Cast, Bokerino, and Benhur leave the in-game roster.

MVP shaken up

MVP Phoenix’ carry Pyo ‘MP’ No-a announced right after TI6 that he will leave the Korean side, and now it seems the team’s offlaner Lee ‘Forev’ Sang-don will follow MP on his way on the door out.

Not only that, it seems that Forev is going to form a super team with Fnatic’s Zheng ‘MidOne’ Yeik Nai to dominate the region after the latter tweeted about it in his account, though the tweet was deleated after catching traction in social media.

Europe waits on OG

European teams are apprehensive to make moves while waiting for OG’s official shuffle decisions.

Andreas ‘Cr1t-‘ Nielsen is rumored to be on his way to join Evil Geniuses, while 9000-MMR Amer ‘Miracle-‘ Barqawi is thought to be weighing his choices of leaving and building another squad.

Team Secret, who had a poor Manila Major and TI6, saw Jacky ‘Envy’ Mao leave along with coaches Kurtis ‘Aui’ Ling and Theeban ‘1437’ Siva.

Natus Vincere had a TI to forget this year, but rumors have it that the team will stick together for another run this fall, or that if any change will happen, it will be that the team will pick up Digital Chaos’ Roman ‘Resolut1on’ Fominok.

CHAMPION WINGS STABLE

TI6 champions Wings Gaming reported that Zhang ‘Faith Bian’ Ruida is rumored to be retracting his earlier statement of quitting pro Dota 2 to pursue his studies, and will stay for another run with the Aegis holders.

LGD Gaming dismissed rumors of Yao ‘Maybe’ Lu’s exit and transfer to Vici Gaming, and said the midlaner will stay with the team, but Sun ‘Agressif’ Zheng is thought to be on his way out to test his market value.

Chen ‘Hao’ Zhihao has announced through his Weibo account that he is going on a 6-month break from professional playing, and might even quit altogether, though he kept his window open for change as he vowed to update his fans one last time before the end of the fall shuffle.
